Our Excelsior veg is sustainably tanned using tannins from the husks of a fruit instead of the bark and wood from a tree. This means that the trees are not cut down and the tannins are not chemically extracted, but only milled. This veg has a nice round hand and will tool and stamp incredibly well. The white point of the veg means that dye colors will be true and the low oxidation means that the dye colors will stay true over time. These sides average 24 sq ft and are available in 1.2-1.4 mm and 1.8-2.0 mm.
