French Calf leather is from young cattle, having a fine, smooth grain, and tight structure. Unlike cowhide from older, heavier animals, the calfskins don’t have deep neck wrinkles or scarring typical of long exposure to naturally occurring elements in the animal’s environment.

These beautifully finished leathers, used by top luxury brands for their finest footwear, personal leather goods and bags are being made available in small quantities to discriminating, skilled leather workers worldwide as a result of our special decades-long relationship with the tannery.

We also offer high quality European baby calf leather. This full aniline leather is very thin (1mm), light weight, soft and supple – perfect for lady’s bags, shoes and boots.
